Program Overview:

The Center for Information Assurance and Cybersecurity (CIAC) is a community of trust that provides a forum and resources, integrating networks of people and institutions engaged in data security and information integrity research, instruction, and development within and beyond the UW system. The CIAC is a diverse academic community interacting with representatives from business, government, and NGOs collaborating on local, regional, national and global issues of Information Assurance, technology and policy. UW CIAC, a catalyst for research, invention, education and, work force development, stimulates public awareness, entrepreneurship, and economic impact in the state of Washington and the Northwest. CIAC encourages resiliency-by-design, and promotes actionable solutions for the most challenging issues of information assurance and cybersecurity. The Center emphasizes participation of underrepresented groups, including women, people of color and veterans.

You may safeguard the world’s cyberspace with a cybersecurity focused Computer Science degree from Washington State University, in Tri-Cities’ School of Engineering & Applied Sciences.
