This combined with a median pay of $99,730 per year and more than 500,000 job openings in the US, a degree in cybersecurity will fast-track your career. Sacred Heart University’s Cybersecurity programs – MS Cybersecurity, BS Cybersecurity and Cybersecurity Minor – offers a dynamic, lab-intensive curriculum based on NSA recommended knowledge units taught by leading experts from industry and academia for a holistic development of the students from theoretical, practical and leadership stand points. These programs are designed to provide individuals with an in-depth knowledge to information security, risk and threat management, and security architecture. It will give students the skills to effectively address the constantly changing threat landscape faced by people, companies, and governments today. All Cybersecurity programs at SHU are offered in a state-of-the-art 1300ft2 dedicated Cybersecurity Lab that provides a collaborative and hands-on learning environment to simulate cyber threats, design responses and defense strategies. The lab is used to support education, research, training and community outreach in cybersecurity and privacy.
