The Event

The Best Practices in Utility Cybersecurity Conference includes a set of expert presentations, each focused on a cybersecurity Topic, the vendors in the Topic area, and the presenter’s view of the Best Practice within the Topic. Attendees will have access to the Energy Harvey Ball Project – where the capabilities of vendors within each Topic area are explored by independent researchers. The keynote address will be presented by Rod West, the Group President of Utility Operations at Entergy.

Best Practices in Utility Cybersecurity is Presented by Protect Our Power

Protect Our Power is an independent not-for-profit with a highly-experienced staff and 25-member Advisory Panel representing a broad cross-section of grid-related disciplines. With both 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) status, POP is singularly and uniquely positioned as a non-partisan, unbiased thought leader able to serve as a convening, moderating, action-oriented voice. POP is committed to improving our ability to deter and recover from attacks on our electric system. POP will work with those responsible for operating or regulating the grid and will help them prioritize necessary actions, identify available solutions, and build a coalition to achieve lasting results.
